Fulop = Schundler Lite

Another Carpetbagger using Jersey City as a stepping stone for higher office.

Like Schundler, Fulop started his political career running for Congress. Schundler started by looking for the best political opportunity, asked to run for County Executive, was laughed at then changed parties (to the Opportunitist Party) then ran for State Senate.

Schundler used the previous campaign to launch his mayoral camapign soon afterwards. Bret took advantage of a broken Democratic machine and beat 17 other candidates running.

Schundler won in a non partisan special election, but if you read his press clippings you would think he won as a Republican against a Democratic Machine out right. Not true.

Fulop believes he beat Junior Maldonado, truth is Junior lost, not that Fulop won.

Junior beat himself with poor camapign management, Robin Pinkowitz and a Ward which was less Hispanic then when he last campaign. Junior rolled out his old election, did nothing for his ward, took junkets everywhere and lost.

Fulop was just lucky and too egotistical to realize it.
