: Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest outside a bar near his Bradley Beach shorehouse, police said yesterday. 

: According to Acting Deputy Police Chief Leonard W. Guida, around 2 a.m. Satur.day Bradley Beach officers responded to a report that there was a loud dispute near Barry's Tavern, a Main Street establishment owned by Healy's sister and brother-in-law. The mayor approached the scene and "involved himself in the investigation" after being warned he would be arrested if he remained, police said.

: Healy said officer Brown told him to get away, commanding he not point at him. Healy said Brown grabbed his arm and wrenched it behind his back, pushing him to the ground as his wife and son-in-law looked on. 

: Healy said he plans to file criminal charges against Browning.
